What is 'Bonfire Night' in the UK?

1. What is Bonfire Night?
It is a celebration, a festival, an event.



2. When is it celebrated?
It is celebrated on 5th November.



3. Where is the festival?
This festival is celebrated in England.



4. Why do they celebrate Bonfire?
They celebrate this festival because Guy Fawkes was executed and he tried to destroy the Westmister Parlament.


5. Who was Guy Fawkes?
He was a catholic soldier who wanted to attack the protestant king ( James I) in 1605 (XVII century)


6. What do they do in this festival?
They dance around the fire. They burnt a kind of Guy Fawkes that they make as a model.There are lots of fireworks.
